Facts about India:
- The population of India today is approximately 1.2 billion people.
- In just a few years, India will overtake China as the world’s most populous nation.
- There are 4,693 specifically defined people groups.
- There are 600,000 villages in India, and 550,000 of them do not have a Gospel witness.
- More than one/third of the population lives under the poverty level.
- Everyday 40,000 Indians die and go into eternity. Most have never heard the name of Jesus.
