For Larry and Nancy Malone, life has always been about ministry and missions. From childhood, when Larry and his parents were charter members of Temple Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Nancy and her parents moved to France as missionaries, until today, Larry and Nancy have constantly sought ways that they can be involved in God’s work.

Larry and Nancy met at Bible Baptist Seminary in Arlington, Texas. There they received the training and skills that have enabled them to serve in various positions in the church and in ministry organizations. Larry graduated with Bachelor Degrees in Divinity and Sacred Music.

A significant amount of the Malones’ ministry has been carried out in foreign missionary service. They have been privileged to work in many different cultures. Larry and Nancy began their service in Spain in church planting and Bible Institute work.

They also ministered in New Zealand where they began a team ministry in the establishment of another church. Larry was also involved in the founding of the Bible Baptist Institute, where he taught Bible, Christian Education and Music. Again Larry looked to develop leadership within the church so that a national could assume the lead and become the pastor. Following this, they returned to Spain where they experienced one of the highlights of their missionary career - their work among the American military in Torrejon, Spain. The ministry there flourished as many trusted Christ as Savior and eleven men surrendered to full-time service.

Following the closure of the base, Larry and Nancy returned to the States. Serving in a leadership role with an international mission agency, Larry had the opportunity to visit many countries of the world. He saw many needs in each of these countries, but it was India that most impacted his life. He was made aware that there are 550,000 towns and villages in India that do not have a Christian witness. Larry was challenged to help train, equip and find support for evangelists who would take the gospel into these unreached towns and villages. This challenge became the inescapable burden of his heart.

In order to focus on meeting this need, Larry and Nancy, along with Trevor and Lori Overcash, began Hope and Help International. The mission of HHI is the fulfillment of the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. HHI is dedicated to the training and equipping of national missionaries with the goal of planting churches that will reproduce themselves.

Nancy serves on the HHI advisory council, and travels with Larry to represent the ministry at mission conferences. In India, she is involved in teaching women and children.

As the Director of HHI, Larry spends a good deal of his time promoting the ministry and traveling to various speaking engagements throughout the United States. He is constantly cultivating relationships with Christian leaders in India and many of these relationships have resulted in fruitful ministry partnerships. Larry travels to India several times each year to oversee the Hope Bible Conferences and Timothy Leadership Institutes.
