I was raised in a Hindu family, but we were not very faithful. By the time I was a teenager, I had discovered alcohol and it began to control my life. I got married but life was very difficult for me and my wife because I drank all the time and the alcohol made me mean and angry. I was miserable and desperately wanted something more from life.

One day I was working and some Christians came to me and began to tell me about Christ. These people had such a peaceful appearance, and although I was not nice to them, they were kind to me. This made me listen to what they had to say. That day I accepted Christ. From then on, I changed and my home became a peaceful place.

Soon I began to think about all the people in my village who were miserable and hated living, like I used to do. I became burdened to share Christ with them and rescue them from their sinful lives too. Today I'm working in 13 villages. I pastor a church and I'm involved in evangelistic activities all the time. Please pray for me and my wife because we face persecution in ministry.
